Why Islam is the true religion

Which is the True Religion of God? Each person is born in a circumstance which is not of his own choosing. The religion of his family or the ideology of the state is thrust upon him from the very beginning of his existence in this world. By the time he reaches his teens, he is usually fully brain-washed into believing that the beliefs of his particular society are the correct beliefs that everyone should have. However, when some people mature and are exposed to other belief-systems, they begin to question the validity of their own beliefs. The seekers of truth often reach a point of confusion upon realizing that each and every religion, sect, ideology and philosophy claims to be the one and only correct way for man. Indeed they all encourage people to good. So, which one is right? They cannot all be right since each claims all others to be wrong. Then how does the seeker of truth choose the right way? God gave us all minds and intellects to enable us to make this crucial decision. It is the most important decision in the life of a human being. Upon it depends his future. Consequently, each and every one of us must examine dispassionately the evidence presented and choose what appears to be right until further evidence arises. Like every other religion ...
The Requirements for the Testimony that Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah [1]

part [1] The Requirements for the Testimony that Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah All praise is due to Allah, we praise Him, we ask for His help, and we ask for His forgiveness. And we seek refuge with Allah from the evils of our souls and from our bad actions. Whomsoever Allah guides, no one can misguide, and whomsoever Allah misguides, no one can guide. And I bear witness that there is no true God except Allah and that Mohammad is His slave and messenger. Next, the person does not become a Muslim until he testifies that there is no true God except Allah, and that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah. The testimony that Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah has certain requirements.
The Two Conditions for the Acceptance of Deeds

The Two Conditions for the Acceptance of Deeds يقول الله – تعالى – في سورة هود [الآية 7]: {وَهُوَ الَّذي خَلَقَ السَّماواتِ وَالأرْضَ في سِتَّةِ أيـَّامٍ وكانَ عَرْشُهُ عَلى الماءِ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أيـُّكُمْ أحْسَنُ عَمَلاً وَلَئِنْ قُلْتَ إنـَّكُمْ مَبْعوثونَ مِنْ بَعْدِ المَوْتِ لَيَقولَنَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا إنْ هذا إلّا سِحْرٌ مُبين} Allah (ta’ala) says in Surat Hude [11:7]: "And He is Who has created the heavens and the earth in six Days and His Throne was on the water, that He might test you, which of you is the best in deeds. But if you were to say to them: "You shall indeed be raised up after death," those who disbelieve would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious magic."” ويقول – سبحانه – في سورة الكهف [الآية 7]: {إنـَّا جَعَلْنا ما عَلى الأرْضِ زِينَةً لَها لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أيـُّهُمْ أحْسَنُ عَمَلاً} And he says (subhanahu) in Surat Al-Kahf [18:7]: "Verily! We have made that which is on earth as an adornment for it, in order that We may test them (mankind) as to which of them are best in deeds.” And He says in Surat Al-Mulk [67:2]: "Who has created ...
How to serve IslaM

H ow to serve Isla M 1 – You can serve Islam by having a correct resolve and sincere intention, for Allah blesses an action that is done sincerely for His sake alone, even if it is little. Sincere devotion, if it becomes a constant feature of acts of worship and obedience, even if they are small or simple in the sight of the one who does them, makes them great in the sight of Allah, so Allah will forgive him for major sins because of that, as it says in the hadeeth about the piece of paper on which is written La ilaaha ill-Allah. 2 – You can serve Islam by knowing the right way and following it. The Straight Path means following the way of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with regard to the principles, ways and means of da'wah and being patient in adhering to that, whilst treating people with kindness and compassion, because they are suffering from the disease of sin. 3 – You can serve Islam by making the most of all available means and circumstances. This is a great blessing, for all means are permissible except those which have been forbidden by Allah. So we call people ...
